Speak Up for Georgia’s Seniors! Together, our voices are amplified and we can make a huge difference!

Meals on Wheels is powered by people who care. Together, we are more than 2.4 million seniors nationally, 2 million volunteers, 100,000 dedicated staff and tens of thousands of donors strong. And, we need your help to fund and protect the programs that support our seniors.

Georgia’s senior population is nearly 2,000,000, and 346,626 (18%) of them are threatened by hunger. 11% live in poverty, and 33% live with some type of disability.
The Meals on Wheels Association of Georgia is focused on ending senior hunger, isolation, and loss of independence. We serve as the “go-to” source for members, lawmakers, healthcare providers and the public for information regarding senior nutrition.

To reach this goal, we provide a unified voice for our members and those they serve through advocacy specific to MOWAG interests, speaking up for the resources needed to provide nutrition services and serving as an ardent representative for those we serve.
